Our Precision Tree Service experts take great care to remove your trees efficiently and safely. The size and location of your tree is never a problem for our team.

But, how do you know if you need tree removal services? Here are some of the most common reasons that a tree should be removed from the property:

  • The tree is dead — lack of leaves or sections of dead trunk indicate a tree that has either died, or is dying. We recommend removing a dead or dying tree as soon as possible. The longer you wait, the more decay will set in. This makes it a greater hazard for your property, and increases the danger for a tree professional to remove it.
  • The tree is unhealthy — large branches or sections of deadened branches (brown leaves or no leaves) and invasive types of fungus or pests all indicate that your trees’ health is in jeopardy. If this isn’t reversible, it is better to remove the tree before it becomes a hazard.
  • Major storm damage — when a significant portion of a tree has been damaged due to a storm, often the only option left is to remove the tree to prevent further damage to the property.
  • Dangerous proximity to buildings — the tree is too close to the home or other structures on the property, such as utility lines or power lines. If the tree fell or dropped branches, it could damage the buildings and possibly harm your family. If you see your tree is leaning towards an obvious target, such as your house, your driveway where you park, your porch or patio, pool, play areas, or driveway, it is wise to consult with a professional tree service about its safety.
  • Damaging property value — blocking the views, light, or inhibiting lawn growth can all decrease the property value of your home.
  • Nuisance to take care of — dropping seeds, sap, or small branches can be a lot of work to clean up in your yard.
  • Roots threatening buildings — spreading roots can pose a serious threat to your foundations, driveways, sidewalks, and underground utility lines. If allowed to continue growing, these roots can cause damage that easily adds up to thousands of dollars.

If you find that your tree fits any of the descriptions given above, it may be time to have your tree tended. Our team of experts can quickly and effectively remove problematic trees from your property. The following is a brief overview of the process of our tree removal services in Snohomish County.

Clear the Location:

Before getting started, we will clear the area of any debris that could be damaged by falling tree limbs. A lot of our customers will find that their tree is close to a home, fence, or other sensitive structures that they do not want damaged. This is not a problem. Once a clear location has been established, we will begin examination of the tree.

Tree Branch Trimming

In most cases in Snohomish County, we remove a tree by having the tree expert climb the structure with ropes and a harness. We start by carefully removing the limbs from the bottom to the top. We carefully cut each limb, one at a time, and have our ground crew stack those limbs in the “safe area.” It’s imperative that we drop each limb carefully to the ground in an area we’ve cleared to avoid damage to your property as well as keeping the team safe.

If necessary, we will use a crane or bucket truck to leverage ourselves in a better position to reduce unnecessary risk.

Tree Trunk Removal

We focus on removing limbs section by section. Our tree removal service is controlled by starting at the top and working our way down. This means that when we get to the bottom of the tree, all that is left standing is the bare trunk. At this time, we use our crane to remove the tree and transfer it to a safe location.

Tree Stump Removal

Once the tree has been removed, there is still a stump remaining that should be dealt with. Most property owners find the stump remnant to be unsightly and request that we remove it.

For this, we use our stump grinding machinery, which is able to maneuver closely in the area and grind the stump well below the surface. This hides the stump and allows for easy mowing and other yard maintenance work.

Additional Tree Removal Services

As we remove the tree from your yard, we chip up all the brush and small branches. At this point, we will either haul this away or we will leave them for the site owner to use for mulch. Additionally, we are able to cut up the larger pieces of wood in 16” rounds for firewood. This, of course, is up to the owner. If they don’t wish to keep the mulch or firewood, we haul it away. Whatever the property owners decide will not affect the cost of their tree removal service.

Whatever the case, our team of tree removal experts of Snohomish County takes care to ensure that when we leave your property, it is neat, clean, and the job is well done. Call our office to discuss tree removal services and costs or to schedule your free tree removal services Everett WAestimate.
